Tony’s residence and law firm are located in Westchester County. Tony, like many of us, located to Westchester by choice.

He actively participates in Cub Scouts, soccer leagues and other community-related activities with his wife Rose Palermo and their two children, Anthony Palermo Castro 12 & Isabel Palermo Castro 8.

Tony will redirect personnel and funding to Assistant District Attorneys enabling an increase in prosecutions and drastically reduce plea bargains.

Tony will redirect investigative personnel so that they do not compete with established, trained and fine police officers, thus reducing the turf and competition problems currently existing.

Tony feels that it is not only the job of the District Attorney to prosecute crime but to also prevent crime.

Tony will work hard to restore the reputation and integrity to the Office of the Westchester County District Attorney.

Tony's Political Activities

He was the Democratic candidate for Westchester County District Attorney in 2005, his first political race in which he came within 3 points of winning.
His qualifications as an aggressive prosecutor include over 14 years of experience as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx, one of the toughest Counties in the Country to prosecute criminal activity, where he earned a reputation for being tough and fair.
